Dash lights/text display

Has anyone seen an aftermarket modification that can change the red dash lighting and text display to blue? I feel it would look much better with the black interior.

you wont be doing this mod sorry.

The dash lighting(buttons and all) can be changed... but you better be prepared to take apart few hundred intricate and delicate little pieces to get to them all. And you also had better be very steady with soldering equipment as all the led's for that stuff are tiny surface mount style.

you can see some pics of it done here https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...highlight=blue

the text display cant be changed AFAIK. You'd have to replace the whole thing with another unit designed for the same application(inputs), or rebuild the existing one if you have some decent electrical engineering know-how

but the OP there also makes mention of what a HUGE and skilled task this is. its not a mod for 98% of people. in fact i can only think of 2 or 3 other on this forum who would attempt it(were they to actually want to)
