Big things do come in little packages. I play bass guitar and I got tired of lugging big cabinets around with 2 x 15" speakers or 4 X 10" speakers. I found a little Euphonic Audio amp combo that simply kicks butt. This combo has a single 10" speaker with a tweeter. Frequency response is 45 to 14 kHz +- 3 db and a sensitivity of 103 db @ 1m. The lowest frequency on my bass guitar is 36.71 Hz, and this combo delivers enough so I could use that low note and still be effective.

This little combo on its own meets my needs in small to medium cafe settings with a live band. Remember, I'm standing right next to an acoustic set of drums and have to put up with loud guitar amps (something to do with guitar egos) and the floor monitors. I have no problem hearing myself, or of feeling the air rush past me if I stand in front of the cab. In larger venues, I add on a 2 X 10 cab to supplement the single ten. With this setup, I have absolutely no problem with volume against the drum kit, guitar amps and monitors.

Guess what I'm saying is that I play bass with a live band at live stage level with a single ten and have no problem hearing or feeling the bass. I cannot see where a good cab design with a single 8" will meet my needs at a very much lowered sound volume. Am I out to lunch? If so, then I’ll have to look at a 10" cab.

My wife actually found it at Wal-mart, the brand is Graco or something like that....

It is the Graco Turbo Booster. In-store availability of that particular color varies from season to season. I purchased two from Amazon.com that are black with maroon inserts (no silver piping). Through my tinted glass they seem to match the seats almost exactly. I believe these colors are still available through Amazon. Search the forum for my previous thread with pics of my seats.

I have a seat similiar to the red/blk one you have.....it's hard for me to get the seat from slanting once my son is in it....since you have to move it a little to reach and latch him in the seat clip. Are you experiencing that problem....any solutions? Thanks

I need to find a small sub box or figure something else out for my system, I like the Bose pretty well, it sounds sonically correct (don't try to argue with me on this I spend much time in studios I know how music is supposed to sound -crap compression & lack of dynamics), however some music I listen to uses a lot of low C's and B's which aren't in all music but tend to be more prominent in heavier music. Since this drops the frequency somewhat more, the Bose speakers don't pick them up as well or distort them too much. I can't take up too much room as I carry a guitar amp with 2x12's (it barely fits and sometimes takes a while to get it jigsawed in there). Anyway, any suggestions for a somewhat small box that would not take up more than 6-8" of depth pushed directly behind the seat. Also does the amp have enought power for even a small sub added in?
