is there any differenece if you crank up your system by HU or the bass ****?? is it safer to do one or the other? like if i were to crank my HU bass all the way up id leave my bass **** at lowest vice versa... any difference in safety for amps/subs?


ps if i crank everything up 500/1 JL amp and 2 10w6v2 can i actually blow it? jw cuz i tested how loud it could go and it made funny noises... id never leave it at that... basically for bragging rights haha

 

funny noises are on the verge of blowing.

Cranking up the bass on either is not safe if it makes your speakers clip. Best thing is just to set the input correctly during install and just leave it.
