Console lid covers

Are the console lid covers that canzoomer and Japan Parts sell any different than stock--is the quality better or is it just the color difference? I'm trying to see if buying one in black is a justifiable purchase.

looks sharp--I have the black covers--but aftermarket black/tan leather seats-so the chapparall ones from canzoomer won't match--is the material better than stock?
