cloth to leather interior swap possible?

im looking into getting a cloth to leather swap performed very soon and just wanted to make sure it is possible. my concern is on my cloth seats there is not a power seat motor being that it is all manual operation and on the factory leather seats have power seat function. will i be able to transfer the seats only and reuse my rails on the leather swap without modifications?

thanks

greg

i did mine and had no trouble the connectors are there in the cloth they arent connected and have a cap over em in the power you connect em ... there are 2 distinct connectors so you cant go wrong

so did you swap over the entire seat assembly or are you still able to use the manual adjustments on your seats? (are you still using your orginal non power seat rail and tilt?)

i wouldnt. after looking at the difference between cloth and leather the leather has power everything and the cloth doesnt..the electric side panel where you can make seat adjustments i am concerned with being able to not use those controls and still allow me to mount the leather seat onto my non electric rails...does that make sense? i hope it does...lol so thats my concern if it is easy to transfer just the seat not the electronics and track

now that i am actually looking at your previou post it sounds like you are using the whole seat with electric track capability? are the unused connectors under the seat or carpet? i assume you had no air bag light on after the swap did you?

here is a link to a seller on ebay selling the entire leather interior....

I believe if you search for someone selling the center console with the heated seat switches that the connectors are already there.
