Has anybody any experience of replacing standard cloth seats for a set of leather seats? My 2007 RX8 came with cloth seats and I have always wanted a leather set. I found a few sets at Breakers Yards in good condition. They even have the seat rails for the fronts and the door inserts/panels as well. but I am not sure now big or sensible a task it will be to replace the seats.

Would welcome any advise or sharing of experiences.

BTW, I am based in Bedfordshire in England. Is there a sub-group in this club for UK RX8 owners - haven't found it so far.

Here's a link to the European sub-section. From what I've read, changing the seats is not a very daunting experience. The back seats literally pop out, and the front ones don't seem like much of a hassle.

 

Biggest issue I have seen is power for the power seat. Some have had problems. I think the answer is in here someplace, just not sure where.
