Hi,

Just recently my CD player won't work. My radio works and the sereo is on, but when I got enter a cd it doesn't read the disk.

Does anyone know a simple solution?

this happen to me also. take it to the dealership. they will order a new one and install it. atleast for me they did

Are you using a Burnt CD or an original CD? because the Stock CD player will not take CD-R Disk however it will read CDRW Disk burn at 4X Speeds. Watch my Youtube Vid For more Infor

I just got a 2004 RX 8. The first day, I threw in an old Trace Atkins CD and it played no problem. So, I went and bought 3 new CDs and tried to play one....CD player says "Check Disc" The same thing happened for the other two brand new discs. Why?
The discs went from the store to the CD player. This is not an intermittent problem because it plays the Trace Atkinds disc 100% of the time..
Any known issues? Any serious recommendations that don't include replacements?
