hey everyone, i purchased a cassette player from Trussville for the sole purpose to run XM radio, since i was disappointed with the sound quality. Installation was a breeze. took no more than 2hr. Thanks for all the threads on this board for HU removal.

How does it sound now. NICE!!!!! FM modulation SUCKS!!!!!!!!! the sound quality is horrible. the cassette adapter is much better. i would say most channels are better than FM radio, but not quite as good as CD. guess due to the XM compression.

If anyone is having quality problems with XM and FM modulation, forget about it. I highly recommend cassette adapter, or PIE; assuming PIE is probably even better. but i have 9.53 version.
