Carbon Fiber Console Kit from Mazda Speed.
Has anyone purchased the Mazda Speed carbon fiber kit before? It runs for about $375. It can't tell what is included in this package, beside the trim that is on each side of the center console. Help!?

Yeah I gather that it is not real carbon fiber. It's pretty high, but since it is product from Mazda that could explain the price. I am just trying to find out if anyone had purchsed this yet, so I know what pieces to be included.
The only reason I am considering this is because I purchased my 8 used and the passenger side trim is scuffed pretty bad. I could order another stock trim for $130, but if I go the distance I could just purchased the next best thing.

I zoom therefore I am.
There's another thread where a member used something like 10 bucks in imitation CF tape and acheived a look similar to the MS kit. Pretty much everyone agreed it looked good.
Armxn is right, 375 is a crazy price.

I am the one that made a cheap center console. look in the diy section, or search for a DIY CF center console. I would link it but I have to get back to work. if you don't find it I will link it later. it cost me about $30 total.

I have the Mazdaspeed CF center console. The back is just the side trim pieces but the front is the entire console. It's expensive - especially for not being CF - but I think it looks good and it matches the other Mazdaspeed CF interior pieces.
I have the console, door handle bezels, and the door switch panels. I bought and installed them all so soon after I bought the car I often forget that they don't come that way from the factory.
I can take some pictures and post them tomorrow if you're still interested in seeing it.

I went ahead and bought it. Yeah it's expensive, but I am not really into using tape as a cover up. We all have our personal pref. I would love to see the pictures of the rest. I just got mine in the mail today, amazing finish to it. I didn't think to buy the handles, and the switch covers. I am just happy that I bought the most expensive piece first to get it out of the way. :D

I promise I will. I should be able to install it later tonight. I should have pictures Saturday.
I added a photo to show what was sent. Sorry the picture is so crappy. It's all I have on me while I am at work. (Better than nothing eh?)

Looks nice with the black interior! I wonder how it is going to turn out with mine being brown/black. If it was red/black that would be wonderful.

120,000+ miles tick tock
decalkits.com has some good carbon tape, its actualy kinda stretchy but still has a 3d look (they actuly guarantee people cant tell the diff, dont kno how much the stand behind that tho)
