I have a lilliput (669GL) 4-wire touchscreen 7 inch monitor.

I am connecting monitor with the factory hdmi cable provided by the manufacturer. At the other end (PC), this HDMI cable is split into an hdmi connector and a usb connector for the touchscreen functionality.

Everthing works fine if I connect this cable only however since the cable is only a metre long I would need to extend this cable. I am doing this by connecting a new hdmi cable (3 meters long) connected with the monitor hdmi plug which in turn is connected to a connector connecting the factory hdmi cable together.

Picture quality remains the same however at this point touchscreen functionality is lost ... whilst device manager is displaying it is an unkown device.

I have tried different cables and different connectors (repeaters) but still the issue persists.

Can someone please help!?
