I'm sure this has been brought up but I coudln't find it.
Say you have a laptop with an svideo out like people do for playing games on a home tv. The laptop would just be docked wherever you want (ie floor, under seat). The svideo plugs into the lcd of your choice. Have a wireless mouse and keyboard. Then find away to encorporate a switching device so you could toggle between the stock head unit and the cpu. When I was working with 3 eq's I have 2 1/3 octaves and a 15 band. I put a switcher in to have only 1 type of eq at a time (1/3 octaves for rta testing) and the 15 band for on the fly tuning.
Anyone have any iput on this or suggestions?

Not bad stuff. There are some other beautiful setups out there. You should check out this guy's E46 BMW M3... it all looks stock. Very very clean. Try Mp3car.com... he's on there as well as many other beautiful installs. Lots of good ideas on that site.
