Can I remove just the ashtray door?

Is it possible to remove the ashtray door/lid without removing the entire center console? Basically, I need to retrieve something that fell back there, but it's really not worth pulling out everything for. I did some research and I didn't come across anyone else with this dilemma. Most people are pulling the console to repaint or replace something. Any help would be much appreciated

FastFreddy: Thanks for the workshop manual, that will come in handy in the future!

mscamp02: I figured I could just pop it out, but that method always makes me a bit nervous!
