Yesterday when installing my IPOD adapter I noticed that one of the rear "louvers"on the right center console A/C vent is not attached to the others, so it is swinging back and forth freely as opposed to in sync with the other ones. This is one of the Vertical louvers in the back so it is a little harder to notice, but still annoying... is this fixable? I can see a small track at the top of the vertical louvers that slides back and foth to move them, but this one louver is just detached fom it.

 

Ok, so there is a little band of steel with holes in it that the louvers go into, I used a long wooden skewer and lifted up the band, aligned the louver with the hole, and then pushed the band down, it worked.

No idea how this happened, especially since the IPOD install didnt really even touch these vents.
