Building my trunk system- 75% done=pixs

hey guys some quick and dirty pixs of my trunk I am building
jl subs, kicker amp (soon to reinstall jl amp) aapex 1.5 capacitor,2 -12volt fans, white neon tube. nothing crazy just all done by me.
and I say almost done because I am doing 2 more w3's on side in a fiberglass enclosure.im sure I forgot something I just want to post progress and some pixs before I paint the amp rack and wire the capacitor tommorow night.
as for now the bass feels so good I may have to try the soundgate LOC but for now using a cheap $12 LOC.4 ga amp wire,12v remote wired to 2nd cigarette lighter
box built on mdf 3/4 and amp rack on 1/2 mdf also false floor and wall.
and the rx8 emblem off my trunk

hey benny thanks, neon is placed in front of amp and capacitor where the jack would usually be.i have a pix but my cheap camera makes it look blue or maybe its the amp rack isnt painted.give me a day on that.
fans are side to side next to neon.with air port on driver side of amp rack.false floor has stock padding but no mdf.
hardest thing about the build is cutting plexi I always hated working with it.
and Im 26 but getting more and more confident on building enclosure's now
I like to thank abbid for researching products with me cool guy
LiLbenny a 8/32 speed nut at local homedepot is what you need.

Looks really good! I'm also throwing around the idea of a stereo setup, but I'm hesitant because of the amount of trunk rattle. It doesn't seem like you have any sound dampening material; do you get a ton of rattle?

Thanks
Ciro

i can attest that there is not an ounce of rattle.....these trunks are sealed pretty damn well....and the bump inside the cabin is pretty damn loud! :D

thank you guys
its great to hear you guys like it.makes the effort much more rewarding.honestly !
sorry a DIY this late wouldnt be informative, but lil benny everything is installed to tell you the truth I expected more of a hassle running a few sets of 4ga around the trunk
but if you take your time and plan your attack everything should be fine.as for false boards.you can start by going to a 99cent store or a craft store(a.c moore) and pick up some construction paper or cardboard can be used.its used to make a template and cut to your desire.even if you cut to much or need extra tapping on some paper is simple.once you get the design or style you are looking for just transfer that to a 1/2 mdf or particle board both sold at homedepot.my local audio shop sells the carpet but im sure any dark charcoal speaker box can do.

not sure what you mean by picking it up ?
the amp rack is painted metallic silver (camera shots may look different color sorry about that)
and yes wood paint I could of used my paint gun but used a can to make it quick.
I will try to get the cans and post them for you.

im not sure on any sites, its mostly off the top of my head and working with the materials I know.
12volt.com is great
what I highly recommend is custom audio magazine they help the most.
a design is maybe the hardest thing I had to do.I built 2 different amp racks and false back wall and scraped them becuase it wasnt what I wanted-simple.
pick out a design and I can try help u out.worst case is you live in the area and can stop by whenever you like.
now Im excited on my new project for my friends car which allows me to go crazy since he has alot of space in his wagon.
