Hey guys, I just bought an 07 RX8. With the Bose stereo being mediocre at best, I went out and bought a good sub and amp since the system is lacking bass. My question though is about the tweeters. I have noticed that the positioning of them are terrible! They seem to be pointed at the windshield or something. When I place my hand behind the tweeter so the sound gets redirected forward at me it makes a world of a difference in sound. So, my question is.... is it possible to re-position the Bose tweeters towards me in the stock casing, or do I need to get a custom casing done to hold the tweeter in place after repositioning. Just curious on the best way to go about it. Thanks guys!

 

The tweeters are positioned to reflect off the windshield. It's a common technique. Pull the casing off and look for yourself. They come off pretty easily.

 

Replace them with NX30's. You won't regret it.
