Angry Bose speaker HELP??

this is very wierd, my front left bose speaker doesnt really work in the mornings or when coldish rain. it sounds blown during that period. for example in the morning when im driving to school it sounds blown, and then after school the speaker will be perfect. does anyone know why this is or how to fix it because its really annoying!

what i did was poped the door panel off quick unplug the speaker and you can either re do the connection by taking off the plastic connector and soldering the speaker connections or just verify the connection plug it back in and secure the cables so there not getting pinched , thats what i did and it seemed to work for me , theres a diy on removal of the door panel

funny thing mine was front left as well

The bose sound system is crap. I've already replaced the amp once, the front speaker and/or this new amp is going out again and I've had that left front speaker problem since the day I bought it... didn't notice it until I had driven it around enough though.

I live in the northwest and I have the same exact issue. Left front Bose subwoofer sounds blown when it is cold and/or wet (rainy/foggy) outside. During warm weather it doesn't seem to happen. I assumed it was blown. The funny thing is it is really noticeable at low volume, but almost disappears at high volume.

Have you guys been able to fix yours by reseating/resoldering the electrical connection?

Thanks, I will try resoldering this weekend. I called my dealer and they told me they were around $200. For that price I would rather start replacing the whole Bose system...

i found out the rattling sound wasn't the subwoofer. it took me top blast the music and step outside to see that my left side mirror was loose and that's what was causing the rattle( or most of it). LAWL! but yeah... bass +6 treble +4 and i always keep it at 28-30. Soooo for 7 months straight no real problems. i can see if i get a system though that this car is going to fall apart.
