I wonder how marketable a standardized black piano finish plate would be to replace the stock head unit with an aftermarket deck? How many people here would be interested?

In an earlier thread, a couple people who went down to CES 2004 noticed a couple companies who specialized in making adapter kits to adapt aftermarket head units into the non-standard factory slots.

Metra doesn't have a kit for the RX-8 available on their website yet, but I'm sure it won't be too long...
