I just got my new RX-8, and when I was playing with the Bose system last night, I noticed something strange. The engine was off, and I was playing a CD. During a silent part of the CD, I noticed a faint beeping sound coming from the speakers. It sounded like an alarm clock, but it was real quiet.

Does anyone else have this on their system? I tried turning the AudioPilot on and off, but it was present for both.

Not that this really matters when I'm driving and/or when the music is playing, because it's so quiet. But I guess I'm really ****, and I'm wondering if everybody has that sound, or if it's just me.

 

Wierd.... Did you turn the Beep on the stereo off as well (same control to turn AudioPilot off)?

 

I havent heard any beep and its not **** it would bother me

 

I think I did try that, but I'll try it again just to make sure. You almost have to be listening for the beeping though in order to hear it.
