How did the HVAC controls work out? did you run into any issues with this kit or was it plug and play... lastly, as I'm thinking of doing the same thing, what firmware version was your OEM radio?

I don't recall what firmware version my stock radio was and so far I have encountered no problems whatsoever with the metra kit and the function of the hvac controls everything is working fine

Look identical to mine (The HU). That looks like a nice, clean install. Congrats on picking a great deck by the way! One question though - How is your antena for the GPS working in that situation? I had troubles getting "reception" when I had mine at the front, so I ran the wires all the way to the back and up to the rear window, now it works great

Thanks! And I haven't had any problems with it at all although j haven't really put it to the test yet. It works fine if I look at it going down the road but I havent actually used it to get anywhere yet but from what I've seen I haven't had a problem with signal. Did you bypass the unit?
