So I picked up a 3 gauge ash tray pod from M4F1050 the other day, and made the dramatic move to pull the gauges off the dash and down to the ashtray. They've been in a custom fiberglass dash panel I made 2 years ago.

Here are some phone pics I took. Not sure how I like it. It's not completely mounted either. The gauges are just sitting in there, not even secured and the console isn't snapped all the way down (needing to file a little on the mounting holes of the pod).

Did this because I was considering the dash as a mounting place for the Interceptor's Microtech Dash Display that I plan to use once the Interceptor is tuned. Considering a mount that will put the dash display near the front speaker.
