do you turn off the radio before starting it. and you may want to get a capacitor if you dont have one.

if i turn off the radio the car turns of good most of the time but sometimes it still messes up, and as far as the capacitor why should i pay more money if they didnt hook it up right i would just like to see if anyone else had this problem and what they did or if someone has experience in installing amps if there is a certain way it should be installed on a Rx8

try to turn the key to on first for a second then start. may be the fuel pressure isn't high enough so you have to crank it for a longer time

Disconnect the fuse at the battery and try starting again. If it is still hard starting, then the audio system is not the root cause of the problem. If it is not hard starting, reconnect the fuse in the main power wire. Next with keys out of the ignition, go to your amp and see if it is on or off (actually do this anyways). If it is on then you have a constant drain on your battery. List the gear that you have installed and how it was installed. By this I mean how was it connected to the stock audio system, dit it use a LOC and if so how was it powered?

well after taking it to mazda and the problem was still happening i unplugged the amp for a couple of days now and the car started perfect so i let circuit city know and so i gave them my car and they said they changed up the wiring on the ignition and also put a relay on so will see if that corrects the problem
