Amp/Sub help

For those of you with subs, how long of a wire did you need to get from your battery to the trunk? Wiring kits that I've seen come with 17 feet of power wire, will that be enough? Also, where did you ground your amp to, and where did you run the RCAs back to head unit, like through the center console or whatever. Thanks guys.

i really hate to say this but, try a search. all of this has been brought up before. aprox 20 feet wire, 17 will work depending how how you route it. i grounded the amp to the battery and ran the wire with the power wire. the head unit has no pre-amp outputs, so you'll need a line coverter or a differental line converter if you do want pre-amp outputs. do not run them with the power wires.....do a search
