ok so i just got me an 05 grey rx8.
everything is stock except for new black rims. i just was wondering if u guys had any ideas of what i could do to make my 8 a lil more unique.
im already workin on changin all the interior lights to red. but other than that just some things to do that dont cost 100000$ haha idk just ideas would help. small or big w.e.....let me know....thanks

 

You new to customizing jman700? You do your own work on your car, get shop to do it, like performance, neons, sound, security. we need a lil more man.

Clear corners or maybe a new shift *** would also be extremely easy. Hope you love the 8 as much as I do.

 

You will probably find (as I did) that all the red in the world will just make the interior pink.

Then you can go to blue (as I did) for a much more dramatic effect.

I liked the blue LEDs so much I got some 3watt ones. 3watts is a LOT of LED....

ill probably do all mods myself. and did it look pink since the beginning or after a while started lookin pink....cause i dont want pink lol i want red haha
yea clear corners sound nice cause i hate the yellow....but i was thnkn to tint the corners black to match the accents of the exterior of my 8 cause even if i was to get the clear corners id be throwing away the yellows so might as well see wat it looks like...so ill let u guys kno how that goes...sounds good so far thanks guys...anything else???

 

One option would be to check out the DIY thread. There is a list of all the DIY projects in alphabetical order here. It is a great place to look for ideas.

Just look at other sites and cars not strictly rx-8 and taylor it for your car. There are a ton of things that you can do. But post here so we can see or if you have questions.

 

i put in all new LED turn signals, foglights, and driving lights. ill have pics posted soon. i also bought the dension icelink of ebay and put that in and sounds great.

 

new interior trim. you can replace all the metalic and piano black colored pieces with cf ones.
