Anyone installed 8s in their doors? Thinking of putting together a 2 way system using 8" woofers and tweeters in the doors. I realize I will have to do a lot of dampening and possibly some stiffening. But I think the outcome might be worth it. Any try it?

 

might work with a shallow mount that doesnt require much space, my thoughts is to put a 6.5 midbass driver in there idk tho, pretty sure someone on the forums here had 2 8" speakers custom fabbed in the doors
