2009 Stereo in 2004 RX-8
Ok, don't get annoyed. I'm asking another question about 2009 parts. I love the updates they've done.
Any idea if the head unit will fit in 2008-2004 models? That touch screen display is amazing!!!!

I don't think there's any way to exchange the two (well, anything is technically possible, given enough money). The stack height between them is different from the shifter all the way up to the top. If you look at a head on shot of the two side by side, you can see that they are dimensionally different.
