So here is my story i love the new 2009 rx8 seats and i'm buying them for my 05 rx8, i'm pretty sure they will fit but how about plugs airbags etc, any check engine lights would come up??? thanks guys!

 

not likely to throw a light, but if they plugs are bi some miracle different, you can just wire in a working set of plugs. The new 8 is pretty similar in body to the older versions, so you should be ok with the bolts. price is the only issue id have with doing this particular swap, as im sure the seats arent cheap if available

 

mazmart mentioned they'll probably cost $2k a seat...
