2006 rx8 nav...

Seems to be shown on the updated rx8 website...

*note* The new nav system is demo'd on the site...mentions that it' now takes voice commands...awesome. It also says that routes can now only be set while parked...that sucks

very stupid.. and you'd think since it's voice activated.. what's the big deal anymore? you can talk on your cell phone if you have a hands free unit.. where's the danger in changing routes while you're driving if all you have to do is talk

The new mazda usa website, the section for the Nav states that it now take voice commands.

can u change routes via voice while driving.. but only by hand if stopped? i know many otehr manufacturers only let u change by hand when stopped but i dont know about voice

I hope so! Not being able to make changes to a route while driving is makes a nav system totally useless...at least allowing voice commands maintains some level of usability...
