best looking tail light mods w/pics. Clarkson famously hated the tail lights...I gotta say, he probably had something there...haha. What in your opinion is the best looking aftermarket tints or tail light replacements?

I don't know but I kind of like the stock tail lights myself. To each his/her own I guess.

there are aftermarket tail lights for the rx8?
tint is for 16 year olds IMO.
Why cover such intricate EXPENSIVE tail lights with a $5 rattle can or layover?

 

I have never done this but it seems kind of like a cool idea to cook it to open the lens and paint the inside cover and put the lens back on with silicone.

 

dont try it. That red cover is a HUGE bitch to take off the tail light once cracked open. I spoke with bumblebeerx8 who put LEDs inside the housing and he said its not worth the labor and he broke a set of lights trying.
Although the final product did look nice.
