this is a grade b CF hood but not a design i've seen... is there a way to repair this "blemishes"

Don't think you can but I might be wrong. IMO, I don't like that style - you won't get the Dancing Water effect:

I don't think it's repairable but you could always paint it. That would make all those impurities and haziness to disappear.

I work with CF, if its a few small pinholes that are on the surface they could be filled with clear and polished away if there are to many like it looks like it has you are talking about more extensive work..............the bigger ones with the red arrows are either air bubbles on the surface or areas on the CF that didnt get saturated with resin and left airpockets between the resin and CF creating areas of dry fiber (more bubbles :p ).....iripairable
