Yes, another fuel lid question!

First let me say that I did do a search BUT don't have hours upon hours to look through all the threads.

This is just a simple (hopefully) question. No debate on likes or dislikes.

I was looking at mazdastuff.com and they show a fuel lid door that I really like. Not sure if the center actually opens or not but it atleast has the appearance of one that does. My question to any or all of you is: Has anyone ordered one and if so is this a true representation of what you got? I saw the one on Trussville and definitly do not want one that looks like that.

Try Rosenthal Mazda. You can order either bright chrome or the lesser Pearl Satin aluminum doors.

I was looing at that. But still the door is too big and the chrome/Peral satin bit is too big. It is not as cute as in the TT or 206.

Expensive too.... but if i have to get it Rosenthal one is the one to get.

Ok I looked at the on on Rosenthal Mazdas site and it is the same one that I want but when I looked at the installation instructions on their site for the door I noticed that the drawing of the door looks identical to the uglyone that Trussville carries.

My question now is : Has anyone bought one from Rosenthal and if so what did it actually look like?

The one from Rosenthal is the same you saw at Trussville.
The other one you're looked at is probably the JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) version. The same that was originally pictured in the RX-8 accessory catalog - but then Mazda North America decided to import the one Rosenthal and Trussville are selling.

Here are the instructions for installing the fuel door. I have a chrome door still in the box I might sell!

No drilling, at least not for the Mazda ones.
