It is a replica. Needs to be fitted and made sure it fits before painting it.

So.....why did you remove the whole rear bumper and taillights? I installed my MS bodykit the day after I got home with my 2006....... but we didn't have to take off the rear bumper.... just the front one (obviously). The only reason I could think of was maybe you wanted to blend the paint onto your bumper....course that doesn't make sense either because you could do that with it on your car. And there's no reason (that I can think of) to take out the taillights either. Hmm......I have no clue. Please fill me in!
(By the way, good move!)

Taillights have to be removed in order to remove the rear bumper.

if you have the authentic ms then it only comes w/ the bottom underspoiler for the rear. replicas have the whole bumper replace.

Exclamation Help On Installation

I have a fiberglass RX8 Mazdaspeed body kit (front bumper, side skirts, and rear bumber) but am unsure on how to install it because of the black piece on the bottom on the original rear bumper that seems to be connected to it. Is it supposed to be cut, removed, or replaced?

Thanks in advance,
-aznshaolin

the black part of the rear bumper is supposed to be cut, through the rotary emblem, i just got my kit 2 days ago, looks like i might need to work on the kit a little for it to fit properly.

Looks like Mazda changed the front Styrofoam piece. Mine does not look like that at all.
