Why does this say "not for automatic transmissions?"

No idea why did Mazda declare that it wouldn't work for automatics. As nuke0907 said, it will work just fine. Many people with auto transmissions have it.

Yeah the Arizona guy on Ebay is a bit of a flake - will ship, won't ship, changes his mind and changes his prices.

Rumour has it that his parts are all old stock Yellow, and he paints them as the orders come in......
