Question what color temp for headlights?

I was thinking about buying the 6000k or 8000k HID bulbs to replace my stock bulbs. But 1st I like to know what is the stock color temp?

lol more like 4200L or 4300K
ive got 8000K on mine and love the blueness of it. have heard 6000K is really white, with a hint of blue, depends onthe look your after and how much visability you want to loose, the higher the kelvin, the lower the visability

it's 4300k Philips i believe. temp rating is dependent on the brand as well. If you get a cheap set a higher temp will likely look more blue/purple and have less lumen output.

If I ever get around to changing my HIDs, I'd want to do some 5000k Philips with a modified cutoff shield. Hmm, that would mean opening up the lights. Might as well change out the projector lenses too. haha. the light would be mostly white, maintain it's lumen output, but hint a slight blue cutoff.

Depends on the purpose. If you want more light, get the 6000k. If you want more blue, then go with the 8000k.
