The more and more I play with the doors and the hood on my 8....How much weight benefit is there to going Carbon fiber??? Anyone have all the numbers?

My orginal intentions were
Hood
Trunk
Doors
Fenders
Bumpers

Was looking at carbon creations for everything, but I would need Seibon Doors. Does anyone have the weight differences for those compared to stock. Is it even worth it? I mean 2 or 3 pounds?? I'll take a **** before I get in my car.

Also how much does the oem pearlescent white paint weigh? Because if I stick with aluminium only problem is it's kinda weak. I hit a bee in the wind and I have a new dent. I'm considering LineX ing the car. It can be applied over the paint, but if I have 6 pounds of paint on the car (have no idea could be way off on weight) then it would be beneficial to pull the paint off and do it to dry aluminium.

That is an awsome list (granted missed everything I was looking for) Very helpful as I will use those numbers at a later point. The car is mostly stock till I get it paid off / warranty comes off, just incase I need to economy dump the car or whatever loss of job that kinda crap. Carbon fiber doesn't really lower the value or void warranty's as apposed to pulling out the back seats and what not. (What is the weight on those?)

Pulling the seats shouldnt void the warranty, I would look into those carbon fiber parts though, often times they wont save you weight...

Would or would not? Thats the thing we are alluminum. I would assume the savings are minimal as apposed to steel cars.
Nobody has weight on the paint though? Somebody has to work for a body shop lol. Whats a bucket of paint weight and how many does it take?
