Veilside Side Skirts

I got the D1-GT kit put on a few months ago and I am having some trouble with the side skirts. The top part that wraps over the door sill isn't taped to the bottom of the door sill so when I shut the door it is slightly scratching the top of the side skirt. Does anyone else have this problem? If so any clues on how to fix it? I talked to the bodyshop and they said that the 3m two sided tape is too thick and it will scratch even worse.

I thought the veilside kit was a pretty good fitting kit. Especially side skirts in general... did you get this figured out?

that is why you use those screws they provided to mount the top part
if yours is real you should have a little bag of screws that comes witht the side skirts
they fit perfect never have any problems

I had it mounted at a body shop and they never mounted it with any screws. they said they tried to shave it down but couldn't get it down anymore. How many screws are there supposed to be on each side? Do they mount them then paint over them? Would I still be able to get this done if the kit is already on my car?

you shouldn't have any problems with the top part
the reason why this is happening is maybe because the mount the front and back of the skirt too high you should try ask them to take the whole thing out and put it back on to fit it again
I believe 3 or 4 screws at the inner side of the top part I forgot they are very tiny
