Titanium Gray spray paint
Anyone know where I can get the Titanium Gray in a spray can? (Before you gasp and think I'm going to put any of this on my car...)
I just bought an RX-8 RC car, and want to spray it the same color as my real RX-8. However, looking at the Duplicolor web site, they don't appear to have any of the Mazda gray colors. (And since it's thanksgiving I can't go to the auto parts store and look...)
Anyone have any pointers?
Thanks,
--Mark

Try this place, you can get factory matched paint in various sizes and also in spray cans.

you need to get paint for lexan, they are flexible water based non-toxic paint for plastic/lexan RC bodies.....
if you use normal automotive paint, it will crack when you "flex" the body.
i have used Faskolor for my RC car... here is the color chart

Parma makes great paints.
Just as a suggestion, if you want to get the sparkly metallic look, spray on gray paint for aircraft first (it'll dry completely translucent but will give the gray tint, like a clear coat), then back it up with a metallic spray..
I used to do this all the time w/my RC cars but unfortunately when I quit working at the hobby shop (8 years ago) I quit racing cars :b
I cant remember the brand names of the paints.

The base color for the Duplicolor MetalCast products is a pretty close match... although more on the "silvery" side. It also has some flake to it. I did my calipers and hubs with it... closest thing I could find over the shelf. https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-wheels-tires-brakes-suspension-55/painted-calipers-rusty-wheel-hub-tit-gray-69305/
