tips for fixing a ripped bumper?
some unfortunate events led to the plastic flap that the metal bracket thingy that screws onto the top of the bumper getting ripped halfway off... i originally thought i'd just put some gorilla glue or something on it to hold it but thats not happening because the flap is too thin and just floppy. anybody ever had this happen to them or can come up with a way to make a quick fix till i can buy a new bumper? my last resort is trying to make a fiberglass patch but then i'd have to get it resprayed and i dont know how it would end up coming out.

Bondo makes a flexible bumper repair compound that is a 2 part epoxy. I have fixed a couple of bumpers with it. You can get it at Advance or O'reilly's for less than $10.
