I want them for my black 8. It is just a modest tint, not a fan of black out lenses

I probably wouldn't.

The RX8 lenses just don't have the flatness that makes it look okay.

I want to see one done first. We have clear lenses and the cars above are red. It might look different on a clear lens.
Just gauging interest

Interesting idea, for sure, but I'd have to see it before I could really judge. Can you match the body color? And how about doing the headlights in body color too?

Yup, seen that. Was mostly wondering how closely the vinyl can be matched, If it's optically transparent one way, it would be an interesting look to "disappear" all the lights.

I can't see the RX-8 pic it is cut off.

Hey also just wondering is the G35 in Japan a Skyline, or did the owner just put the Skyline emblem for fun?

I got flamed for trying to start a gold headlamp trend. Tinted tailights? Sorry bro, I don't drive a Camaro. Gold headlamps rule :D.

I'd be interested in seeing it done. I think that G35/skyline looks pretty bad-***.

The 8's tail lamps are a work of art, why would you want to hide them???

Because tinted tails would be cool. I dont think it is 80's. They would be a work of art if they were tinted.

Biggest problem with tining the taillights would be having them bright enough to be seen during the daylight for use when stopping or turning. The Third Brake Light will catch the attntion for stopping, though but the turn signals might be too dark. They do make a vinyl material that has been mostly used on motorcycles that comes in various colors that can be ordered from some places provided you can find one in stock somewhere. I ordered some from a place that I never got it from, last time I called their number, they were disconnected. So, I never got what I wanted. I had ordered black. I cannot recall the name of the product.
