I must admit Muga I was not pleased with the xmen spoiler in pics but I saw it in person and it isn't bad...in fact is looks pretty good from a distance

I'm sticking with my stock spoiler though...if anything I'll fabricate a custum one in a year or so

 

IMHO one of the worst things i have seen on an 8. there is a silver 8 that i see all the time with it, and it look really bad. But to each their own.

You've expressed your opinion on the X-men spoiler...repeatedly. I think this is the fourth or fifth time. If it offends you so much stop opening the threads and posting in them.

Everyone that has seen my spoiler has liked it. In fact, I don't think I've seen a single person laughing so far. Must not be that funny

 

i have seen plenty of people expressing their dislike for that spoiler on this site. perhaps 'everyone' that you have seen is being nice. perhaps all your friends are Xmen fans that would never **** on anything Xmen related....spoilers included.

 

there have been worse spoilers posted on these forums.

I hate most wings because they're not functional. Unlike those, this one doesn't even pretend to be. I think that might be worse.

 

I think since the car belongs to him, he should be allowed to do whatever he wants to it. Why don't we praise it and stop belittling it. Besides, we all love the 8.

definitely not. no one even knows that's where it came from, and most haven't even seen the movie

I've said it before, the pictures don't do it justice, it looks better in person. YOU don't have to post in everyone's threads telling them their cars look like crap and they have terrible taste all the time.

I guess the problem is, we should not be so subjective, since he did not ask what we think, but rather, asked for pics of a red one. So we are all in the wrong, those of us that so boldly gave our opinion. Come to think of it, I've never seen another opionion expressed in this forum.

Why? He likes it, he can do what he wants. Or are you trying to change his opinion to make him do what you want. It's not your car, so would you care what other people do to their own cars?

Every time someone puts up one of these spoilers on average 1/3 of people hate it and 2/3 of people like it. Maybe someone is just happy about what they have put on their car....they don't want a whole bunch of people telling them it looks like crap, or the very original "you put it on upside down" comment.

 

most of the negative comments, were prefaced with IMO, or something of that nature. My opinion: it is ugly, your opinion: it kicks a$$. No one is wrong.

I'm just saying that people don't need and don't want to be bashed for liking something that isn't the norm. The same thing happens with vented/cf hoods. The people that don't like them usually get pretty nasty about it and call people ricers, etc.
