hey I was thinking about making my RX8 a theme car. I have a custom motorcycle thats designed like 'Aliens'

Some people are askiing me to make my RX8 the 'Predator'.. You know... AVP...

I was thinking about making it a Star Wars theme.. the Jedi Starfighter.

Thoughts on theme cars? Like em? Hate em?

Thoughts on other theme ideas?

 

I guess it all depends on how you do it. Photoshop some designs.

I think the AVP thing would be interesting.

Oh yea and post up some pics of your bike!

This is an old pic. Since this I have added a killer long headlight:



The tank is designed similar to the the Aliens theme but not exact:


The back fender has tears in it like it was attacked:

As for the predator theme on my RX8.. I was thinking about this:

- paint the headlight shield so the shape matches the predators metal facemask eye sockets
- paint the front so it matches the contours of the metal facemask
- have the predator dreds along the sides of the car and hood like you would normally see flames on a hot rod
- I wanted to have the rear painted like his armor and have sections with the led display of the predator self destruct lettering

Thoughts?

 

i mean, this is your car; you do what you want with it. seems cool if you can get it to look badass. for a dd?

u need the predator body kit!!

 

you better be loaded if you want this to look semi good.

 

The 8 would make a much better Cylon raider IMO

i think you can tone it down a bit and not be so literal-just like your bike; it's not OVER WHELMING and screaming ALIENS! it's nice and subtle...very classy.

 

I hope you have deep pockets..

I think he was using a bit of sarcasm Id definatly agree with go all out or dont do it at all. Its going to cost way too much money to half *** it so if you like the idea of having a very unique 8 and a lot less money than I say HELL YES go for it!!!!!

 

You know, I agree. I think going all out 'theme' is a little over the top for an every day car. I use my RX8 every day.

If I was more subtle than the bike I think I can pull it off. It will take alot of thinking.
