Was woundering if anyone had any experience with a spyder led third brake light? I was thinking about ordering one to replace my dull factory light. I thought the smoke grey would go good with my 2004 titanium grey.

 

I don't have experience with it but its something I've always wanted to buy. The two rows of LED's look fantastic.

 

i just bought mine and put it in...but my DSC and ABS lights or both on after the install...i need a resistor but i dont know what size :/

 

I've had the chrome led 3rd brake light for a couple years, never had any issues. It looks great and is very bright. When I installed it I used one 2 watt 150 Ohm wire wound resistor. The resistors are inexpensive, I think I got a 2 pack for under $5 at a local electronics shop. have purchased one since this thread. I didn't have any issue with the dash warning lights.

 

I have been wanting the Spyder Third brake Light to go with my brake lights. I looked on Amazon...the smoked are pretty reasonable. The ones I want are currently out of stock which is the red one. I think the smoke will look awesome with your TiGry

I used to work for Spyder, and their quality is not always "top-notch". If you want this piece, make sure you buy it from ebay, that's where they sell directly. That way, you have ebay and paypal's buyer protection in case you run into any problems.
