Spray paint color match??? or almost match.
I just pulled mud guards out of an wracked 8 from my local junk yard. Very cheap.
However, it is gray (not sure, may be Ti-Gray) and my 8 is Sunlight Silver.
I took the parts to the local paint shop and asked for quote.
Shop said it will take around an hour, color matching and painting so it will cost me $70 (discount rate already).
Problem is paint will cost almost 5 times more than parts I got....
Any spray paint which is close to Sunlight Silver? Just close is good enough.
I need you help so I don't have to grab every brand and try.
Thanks,
Tony
Don't worry, if I mess the color up, I will just leave them alone. I will not rice my ride.

My experience in painting is that it will be very hard to match the colors, but you won't be out much if you try it. If your colors don't match to your satisfaction you can always take it to a shop.

It would probably give you a peace of mind to just get the body shop to do it.
Of course the paint is goin to be more if you got the parts out of a junk yard. But if your not happy with the job they did you can always get them to respray until your a satisfied customer,,,

Take it to a specialty paint store. I'm not talking Sherwin Williams, but one that deals to the contractors.
I have one here locally that will match any color, automotive grade, and put it in an aerosol can.
Other than that good luck finding an exact match at Home Depot or Wal-Mart......you have a choice of silver in budget, medium, and high price ranges, with little variation in the silver color.
