It sounds kinda weird, but I was wondering if I could get an aftermarket sunroof, in the shape of a star or something like that. I have no idea if its possible or not...and some people told me it would have leaking problems and stuff like that...

even if I did this, it wouldnt be for awhile (because of a major lack of cash)...but I still want ur guys' opinions...

I noticed your 8 doesn't have a sunroof now. IMO it's not a good idea to put any aftermarket sunroofs in cars. It could impair the structural integrity if not done correctly. Not to mention one that's an odd shape like a star or something. Oh and way too costly indeed.

A star would be crazy on our car, tiggerlee is right,, you don't want to mess with the body as some problem could occur. The 8 looks great without a sunroof anyways.

 

What would possess you to make a sunroof shaped like a star? How would that even work correctly?

 

Just go get a sawzall and make it your self and silicone some plexiglass back into the star shaped hole. I am assuming that you want a star shaped "window" not a sun roof because there would be no way to open it. While you are at it you should have stars etched into all the windows to carry the theme throughout the car. J/k as stated there is no way this could be accomplished espically with the star shape opening, unless it just lifted off and removed.

But then again anything is possible if you have the money to do so and can find someone willing to try it.

 

Shaved door handles? Anyone seen it on this car or done it? Its one of a few tiny issues i have with the design of this car verses the old 7. Maybe...replacement handles? Has anyone seen that anywhere?

I had a similar idea but it will be expensive if I ever decide to do it. I thought it would be cool to have a moon roof shaped like a rotor with the glass etched to show the apex seals and whatnot.

lol nah im not gonna get a rotor, although it would probably look good on someone elses car...it would look funny with the theme ive got goin on...

the star is what I was wondering how much it would cost lol. If I actually get mine done, and it works, i'll make whoever does it hook u up with a rotor window thingie lol
