i would get rims before getting a body kit. To me, it would just look incomplete.

same thing that pops our trunk pops open doors, back before autoloc etc. was selling shaved door kits we would go to salvage yards and get the trunk poppers out of lincolns/cadillacs and modify them to work

I would definitely go suspension first, then wheels, then the rest, but that's just the sequence I've learned from experience

I'm went audio/electric and I'm going to get kit/rims/performance. I decided getting my kit before I get my rims because everyone and their mother in this town has rims, not everyone has a kit. That and I'm waiting until it's time to replace the tires before I replace the rims.

Personally I don't know next to anything about cars because this is my first car I've given a damn about. But I know I'm more into show than anything else. The car is powerful enough for me, considering I don't race it, I'm more than happy with the way she performs. I'm not going to get a 10 second car out of it, so I'm not really all that worried about minor tweaks.

Someone asked how you open the doors, they pop open, like our trunks do. You just hit your little remote button and the door pops open. I think it looks amazing and later on down the road I'll look into having it done, no time soon though.

Sabrina, I have a shaved door kit (Auto Loc), and we can go get it installed at the same time, with a discount.

sounds like a whole hell of a lot of money for a pretty bland looking mod. Any normal person probably wouldn't even notice that you don't have door handles. Body kit, paint job, suspension, audio, engine, turbo, something has to be a better road then shaved door handles for $5000. I wanna know where you guys get your money to just **** away on your cars.

only a complete moron would let a bodyshop charge them 5 grand for shaving handles, the price to do this from a reputable shop is closer to the hundreds, not the 1,000s. here's another quick lesson for you:

shaved handles = TRUE custom

that other stuff you mentioned only takes money and a little effort, and once completed all you have is a bolt on mobile. The people who will notice this mod are the people who really know their vehicles, receiving props/attention from those types of people beats pleasing the everyday masses by a guhzillion.

Hey, Sabrina.. Where you been is the better question? I just been real busy this past 2-3 weeks, hardly get online anymore.. But, how you been and all? Hope everything is well with you, but moving on to another subject.. I won't be getting my doors shaved any time soon, maybe mid July? As soon as, I get my other RX8<< But, we sure won't be paying no $5,000, that's just retarded. I can both of our done cheap and A+ quality! I'll let you know exactly when I'll be getting it done.
