RX8 Wide Arch Kit

Hey folks, buying an RX8 today that I plan on fitting an SR20DET engine too (don't kill me yet) and I need a wide arch kit also as I will be running 18 x 10JJ up front and 18 x 12JJ at the rear for track and 18 x 11JJ up front and 18 x 13.5JJ at the rear for street...

Does anyone know if Mad Mike sells his Lokey Kit ? It is awesome !!! I have emailed them through his offical website but just eager to get started.

As for noob status I just joined, here is my Altezza running an SR20DET on the very 18 x 11JJ Front and 18 x 13.5JJ Rear Work Meister S1's and and below is a link to the feature on speedhunters

Ooooh burn. If I had a dollar every time some noob posted up about an engine swap that he was going to do that never happens I would be rich. I have seen that feature, I can appreciate the work, it's a sweet ride. Hopefully you make this happen, then I will eat my words. For now the jury is out on you.

Search for "wide body kit", there are a couple of options.

you're completely right Scott.
Besides, stretched tyres and bucket seats belong to the realm of showcar fail that not many users here like.

For those who are trying to be helpful instead of whats wrong with the car community...

Mike is running the bn sports wide arch kit on the madbull fd3s and I think the front bumper, side skirts and rear bumper are bn sports also but adapted by lokey to suit the wider wings and rears. Its the quarters I am interested in more than anything, the step from the lights is savage, if I could buy them it would help with the time frame.

Don't like the R-Magic or Re-Amemiya kits currently available.

I didn't join here to be liked or approved of, I joined to share my love of cars and individuality but hey each to their own.

Have you checked mazdatrix? They have some rear flares. I think they look ugly though.
Generic flares should also do the trick but they look ugly as well 90% of the time.
Panspeed makes specific ones too. japanparts.com has them

Jury is out on the Mazdatrix wide arch kit, maybe its the colour putting me off...

Pic's are rubbish for the Panspeed items but they look fairly stock...

I think Mad Mike has pretty much dominated the wide arch look with the badbull LoL

The panspeed ones are just like stock, only wider.
Cut the stock one, rivet the new one in place and you're done. I'd take them over the mazdatrix kit to keep a sober look.
Fitment may be a concern for the mazdatrix rear flares too. I'm not sure if you need their entire bumper. In that case the s1 rear tail light would look a bit out of place. The pictures show it

Agreed I am able to build the kit from the ground up but the issue is time, I just don't have it and I need to get it out for testing once the engine goes in. Probably have to bite the bullet and build the dam thing

Kruizer, welcome to this forum , in time you will learn that if your not one of the "In" crowd, or dont have post's in the thousands, and want to do something unique , your gonna get flamed . FFS, some guy on here had many, many post's on removing a broken bolt , not to mention a vendor who received monies and didnt supply the goods who is still a member of this forum, go figure. Anyways , good luck with your mods, and post's pic's when your done.

I jumped on him quick due to the craziness of this thread and what he is stating he is going to do. I was wrong. I apologized to him privately. I can be a dick in person too, it has nothing to do with post count or broken bolts (not just one bolt) or this mysterious "in" crowd you speak of.

Lately there as been an influx of stupid noobs making ridiculous claims and in general just being retarded. I got caught up flaming, so sue me. It happens, in real life I say things I regret all the time

As for flaming, well I have been flamed plenty, I consider it a compliment.

I don't like the bonnet, spoiler and wheels but other than that I think it looks menacing, its the new project from Re-Amemiya according to FB.
