This is an rx8 bodykit I designed and modelled. I like the back and the side skirts, I not so sure on the front though. Tell me what you think.

 

I like the front and side, but not the back

 

honestly, i think it's hideous
The front is blocky/angular and doesnt really have any consistent lines other than the big rectangle mouth openning.
The sides are alright
The rear is far too busy.

It basically looks kinda like you crossed the veilside and NRF kits and came up with this...

 

Kinda looks like an updated version those old Combat kits. Looks good... don't know if I would ever rock one though.

dont like it... the front look distorted and i think the rear would look better without the black plastic on the sides.

What program did you use to design this? How long did it take you?

 

3ds max, I made it last year when I had the chicken pox, then over the last 9 months I've been altering it.

I'll give it another go and see what I can come up with, I'll post something when I'm done

 

Its cool that you spent the time on it, and designed it yourself, but honestly I hope to never see it on the street.

Yeh, I understand now, it's hard at first after you've spent so much time on it to see what is wrong with it, but know I can see plently of things that I can change

 

Should I change the side vents so that fog lights can fit in?

I like it soley on the creative side of things.
Personaly I'd make the mouth opening a bit smaller. Bring it down so it lines up with the lines of the bumber under the lights. Our luvly car has that 5mph bumber gaurd I recently found out so it would stick out with the opening.

Also on that MS 8 body kit that Japan showed.. the front bumber kinda looks like the current C6 which is kinda sweet looking hehe. Have they given the Go-Ahead yet on that kit?!

Which MS 8 bodykit? The old white one? The blue MS Concept 8 from Tokyo Auto Salon? By your description it sounds like the blue one. I like it too... as do many other board members. I wish that Mazda would roll that one out.

 

^Japan the new blue one. Again just looks like the new Corvette, they definatly should come out with it.
