Help with hood

Ok so I did a thread search for this but couldnt much.

I just bought the seibon carbon fiber ts hood and I was wondering about the covering under the vents, are you supposed to take them off cuz they are only held on by a few small screws. The covers do have an opening by the nose of the hood so thats why I'm not sure. So if anyone has this hood and knows which way is better that would help.

And yeah i know im probably just being dumb

I have the hood, I took the covers off. Nothing wrong with leaving them on. It just looks better with them off..

Ok so I put the hood on myself and alignment is good but off a little bit. Is there an easy way to fix it myself or should I just go and spend the money to have a shop do it
