Hello,

My rear bumper got scuffed and requires new paint on the right side. Should I replace or repaint it? I remember seeing someone say a painted stock bumper runs about $300, while a good repaint would cost almost the same anyways right? Suggestions?

If you were to buy a new bumper, it would not come painted. So do you want to buy a new bumper and then have it painted. I thought not. Just have a bodyshop fix the one you have. Save yourself some money.

Guess I'll find a good place to repaint it. I didn't know they don't sell painted bumpers .... everytime I see the scratch I wanna

check eBay. sometimes ppl put their 2nd hand bumpers for next to nothing.

A new unpainted bumper from Mazda is $303.

I got about 5 deep scracthes on my bumper (don't ask). Took it to a good body shop, cost me 300 and looks as good as new. Thats what I suggest.
