Removing side vents AFTER installing front splash guards
This may have been posted before, but I do not recall seeing it. I have read somewhere that you cant get the side vents out unless you take the front splash guards off and essentially ruin the double sided tape. Yesterday I noticed that one of my strakes was loose, so I remove the first 2 plugs of the fender liner ABOVE the splash gurad (one is almost at the top of the liner) and I was able to carefully peel back the fender line just enough to get my arm in behind and release the side vent. It was tight and my arm had indentions on it for about an hour afterwards, but it can be done.
Hope this helps someone.

This is why i didn't use the sided tape when I installed mine. Saved my *** this past wekeend too, when I had to remove it to change my front blinkers.
Glad you were able to figure it out though.
