I am considering pruchasing these and I searched for information on this, but no luck. Has anyone ever had to remove the eyelids? If so, how difficult is it? Do they cause permanent damage to the lenses, like scratches from dirt getting underneath. Thanks, I'm curious before I put them on.

 

no big deal really you can always wet sand the lense if it is scratched...then polish
